QUOTATION AS A SIGN OF INTERTEXTUALITY IN THE ANIMATED CARTOONS BY W. DISNEY STUDIO

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying quotations as one of the signs of intertextuality. The analysis is carried out on the basis of the animated cartoons by Disney Studio "The Nightmare before Christmas", "Frankenweenie", "James and the Giant Peach". The paper analyzes the explicit and implicit levels of quotation. According to the author, the majority of quotations in the animated cartoons are assimilated as the stable expressions.
