EMOTIVE VALENCY OF THE EVALUATIVE STATEMENTS THROUGH THE PRISM OF BILINGUAL COMMUNICATION

Abstract. The article examines the factors determining bilingual communication and emotive valency of the evaluative statements in the process of interpreting the translation of a bilingual communication. The authors explore the interaction of a communicative load with the different explicit markers of a various semiotic nature which are of great importance for understanding the dominating function of a text. Linguistic correlates of emotions and evaluations - emotiveness and evaluative nature - are under analysis. Intonation as a means of communication is examined in relation to interpreting the translation of a bilingual communication.
