FUNCTIONAL-STRUCTURAL FEATURES OF INTERFERENCE PHENOMENON UNDER CONDITIONS OF LANGUAGE CONTACT (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE GERMAN LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The article considers the notion of language interference. The author identifies the situations in which the phenomenon of interference is observed. The various levels (phonological, grammatical, lexical and orthographic), at which interference can be considered, are analyzed and the types of interference are described. The examples for each level of interference are given. The role of language interference when learning a foreign language is analyzed.
