STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS OF FILM DISCOURSE

Abstract. The article touches upon the question of determining the main components of film discourse. The author analyzes such notions as "film script", "film image", "film text", "discourse of the film", "film dialogue", "film speech", "subtitles" and the relations and connections between them. The results of a theoretical analysis are summarized in the form of a diagram illustrating the structural components of film discourse.
