INTERPRETATION OF EUPHEMISMS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION

Abstract. The article considers euphemism as one of the expressive means of the language; its structure is characterized by the two-sidedness of meaning, therefore euphemism is a fragment of a space of practical conclusions within which the attempts to remove the unattractive facts in the implication very often have a converse effect - effect of mockery, comic effect.
