TEACHING LITERARY AND PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED TRANSLATION ON THE BILINGUAL BASIS IN NONLINGUISTIC HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract. In the article the authors reveal the content of translation training from the position of bilingual teaching of foreign languages. Major attention is paid to the formation of bilinguism mechanism which allows activating symbolic, denotative or situational connections of lexical units of the native and foreign languages, to the development of students' bilingual skills and abilities which are necessary for interference overcoming and specialized background knowledge activization.
