TYPES OF SEMANTIC STRUCTURES OF THE GERMAN COMPOUND WORDS

Abstract. The article deals with the types of the semantic structures of the German customary and occasional expressive compound words. The status of occasional compounds is defined on the basis of the criteria of system and belonging to the vocabulary of the language. The classification of the German expressive compound words is carried out according to the given criteria. The notion of "the model of the compound word expressive semantics formation" is described. Customary expressive compound words are regarded as system stable (vocabulary) units and occasional expressive compound words are system unstable (non-vocabulary) units.
