SEMANTICS OF COORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS IN THE RUSSIAN AND FRENCH LINGUISTICS: RESEARCH PARADIGMS

Abstract. In the article the Russian and French coordinating conjunctions are considered. Special attention is given to the specificity of the semantics of coordinating conjunctions and their interlanguage equivalence in the Russian and French linguistics. It is revealed that the correlation of the semantic and communicative-functional aspects of using coordinating conjunctions has not been studied enough yet.
