AUDIO-VISUAL TEXT AS MEANS OF TEACHING WRITTEN TRANSLATION TO STUDENTS-LINGUISTS

Abstract. The methodology of teaching audio-visual text written translation to future linguists worked out by the author is presented in the article. It is shown that such texts are an effective means of the communicative component formation of students’ translator competence. The system of exercises is described that is aimed at the development of their communicatively equivalent written translation skills.
