LINGUISTIC IMAGE OF SCIENTIST AND TEACHER OF HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT (BY MATERIAL OF I. GREKOVA’S SHORT STORY "DEPARTMENT")

Abstract. In the article strong textual positions, which help to show the linguistic image of the scientist and teacher of a higher education establishment, are analyzed in detail. Metatext fragments, antonymous oppositions allow concluding about those characteristics that create this image. Main attention is paid to the key words in the assessments of minor characters characterizing the macro- and micro-world of the main heroes.
