Abstract. In this work the authors consider the problem of the correction of the Russian written language of the Chinese students studying the Russian language outside the language environment. The typical errors are analyzed. The major difficulties in the process of writing skills formation are revealed. The solutions to problems are presented. The necessity to develop students’ written intercultural communicative competence is substantiated. Basing on the conducted research the authors draw the attention of experts to the need of more complete mastering of the graphic-spelling system of the Russian language by students.
