THE RUSSIAN CLAUSES WITH CATEGORY OF STATE AND THEIR TRANSLATION INTO THE CZECH AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE NOVEL "CRIME AND PUNISHMENT" BY F. M. DOSTOYEVSKY)

Abstract. The article presents a comparative analysis of clauses, which include the category of state in the Russian language and corresponding clauses in the Czech and English languages, specifies the translation correlations, considers the regularities of the methods for conveying the state in the process of translation. The material of the article is based on the novel "Crime and Punishment" by F. M. Dostoyevsky and its authentic translation into the English language made by Constance Garnett and into the Czech language made by Jaroslav Hul?k.
