IDENTIFYING NATIONAL SPECIFICS OF THE CONCEPT "GIFT" BY THE ANALYSIS OF ITS PAROEMIOLOGICAL REPRESENTATION (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ENGLISH, RUSSIAN AND CHUVASH LANGUAGES)

Abstract. The article describes the investigation of paroemiological representation of the concept "gift" by the material of the English, Russian and Chuvash languages with a view to identify its national specifics. The research was carried out within a framework of a semantic-cognitive approach to language analysis. The author determined a number of parables objectifying the investigated concept in each of the three languages, revealed its cognitive features and ranged them according to clarity.
