COURSES FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES: LEXICAL-SEMANTIC AND DERIVATION FEATURES OF FORMATION

Abstract. The author reveals the content of the notion "language for special purposes", tells that despite the similarity to natural language the specificity of special language is clearly observed, pays particular attention to term derivation, which purpose is to focus on the description of functioning pattern of a derivational mechanism in scientific language, analyzes the surgical terms sphere, and considers the specialized professional coding, carried out by means of derivational formants.
