DURATIVE VERBAL PERIPHRASES OF THE FRENCH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The authors consider the universal category of verbal action duration that is interpreted as a character of the action, tell that every action, no matter how brief it may be, has certain duration: limited or unlimited; and reveal the durative status of analytical verbal means in the French language.
