MAGAZINE VS ALBUM: TO PROBLEM OF CHILDREN’S PERIODICALS GENRE

Abstract. The author analyzes the genre specificity of the magazine for pre-school age children within the framework of media discourse, reveals the features of media publication for children of this age period, tells that the novelty of this research is a complex analysis of such publications for children as a magazine and book with pictures (album), with the revelation of their distinguishing features and understanding of the values ??of these children’s periodicals genres in the process of child’s communication skills formation in early childhood.
