MEANS OF EMOTIONAL INFLUENCE IN SMALL-SIZE TEXTS OF MODERN FRENCH PRESS

Abstract. The authors consider the means of emotional influence in the small-size texts of the modern French press, tell that small-size texts authors use different stylistic devices and figures of speech in order to influence the reader, and pay special attention to reveling such stylistic means of influence in the studied texts as metaphor, metonymy, antithesis, parallelism, paronymic attraction, play on words.
