ROLE OF COMMUNICANT-MEDIATOR IN LITERARY DISCOURSE

Abstract. The author considers the communicative role of a language mediator, who, unlike an interpreter or accidental listener, is a full participant in communication with his own communicative intention, from the point of view of language competence considers the language mediator’s role in a literary text in the range of monolinguals-diglossia-bilinguals, and reveals the various kinds of language mediator’s role representation in the literary discourse from the point of view of the success of communication.
