FEATURES OF STUDENTS’ EDUCATIONAL-COGNITIVE ACTIVITY IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES IN NONLINGUISTIC HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract. The author reveals the nature of students’ educational-cognitive activity in foreign language classes in nonlinguistic higher education establishment, suggests the classification of basic mental conditions experienced by students learning foreign language, pays special attention to the interrelation between students’ mental conditions and their activity in classes, and states that performing exercises of varying degrees of complexity by students in turn helps create situations for success in foreign language classes.
