NON-NORMALIZED LEXICAL AND PHONETIC UNITS IN LITERARY TEXT (BY EXAMPLE OF R. N. MITRA’S PROSE)

Abstract. The article analyzes the use of non-normalized units: slang words, jargon words, vulgar words, graphones and also the situational distortion of pronunciation in the literary texts of the American writer R. N. Mitra. These lexical units make the story more dynamic, convey the features of colloquial language and the emotional state of a hero, and also create a portrait voice description.
