ON ROLE OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHER AS MEDIATOR IN DIALOGUE OF CULTURES

Abstract. The author discusses the importance of intercultural competence acquisition, which becomes absolutely indispensable in increasingly expanding international contacts, and also emphasizes the role of a foreign languages teacher, destined to be a mediator in the dialogue of cultures.
