F. SOLOGUB - MASTER OF POETICAL TRANSLATIONS FROM P. VERLAINE (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE POEM "C'EST L'EXTASE LANGOUREUSE...")

Abstract. In the article the question about the reason of the popularity of F. Sologub's translations from P. Verlaine is researched. The material of the research is the translation of the poem C'est l'extase langoureuse... and its analysis for the purpose of the equivalence with the original (the measures of exactness and license, rhythmic-metrical organization of the translation and the original, the ways of rhyming are determined).
