ON THE ISSUE OF SEMANTICS OF SYNTACTIC TRANSFER (BY THE MATERIAL OF W. WORDSWORTH’S POETIC TEXTS)

Abstract. The paper examines semantic features of syntactic transfer implementation by the material of the English poet-romantic William Wordsworth’s poetic texts. Relevance of the article is stipulated by the important role of transfer as a marker of the individual author’s style, as well as by significance of semantic characteristics, which act as foundation of the statement meaning organization. Determination of important tendencies of mutual influence of themes of the poetic text and the structural type of transfer, as well as of the structural type of transfer and semantic parameters of lexemes disconnected by the transfer, allows identifying the most relevant features of the semantic and syntactic structure of the poetic line in the English-language texts under study.
