Leurda Oksana Petrovna

For a long time the main emphasis in the pedagogical practice of the variety-jazz departments and chairs of secondary and higher education system has been laid on the development of variety singing normative techniques. The chief problem of such approach consisted in the professional one-sidedness of graduated specialists having obvious problems in all that is associated with spontaneous improvisation. According to the author, the joint classes of variety vocalists and experienced jazzmen-instrumentalists are able to instill the skills of complex phrasing and syllabic improvisation to singers-beginners.
