Neurodigital technologies in inclusive education: A theoretical review

Abstract. The aim of the paper is to present an overview of psychological and pedagogical research in the field of creation, application and improvement of neurodigital educational technologies in the context of modern inclusive education. The paper identifies and summarizes the main areas of research and problems of the neurodigitalization of inclusive education, identifies ways to solve these problems, the priority areas for further research and development. The scientific novelty of the study is associated with an attempt to comprehend in an integrative manner the existing areas of psychological and pedagogical research in the field of the neurodigitalization of inclusive education, consider the advantages and disadvantages of “neurodigital education” as one of the inclusive practices, highlight the system of success factors for the neurodigitalization of inclusive education. As a result, it has been shown that at present, it is possible to outline several leading areas in the psychological and pedagogical research on the neurodigitalization of inclusive education, as well as the prospects for the development of “neurodigital pedagogy” as a science and practice, determine ways to overcome the weaknesses and barriers to the development of inclusive education in terms of elaborating, implementing and improving neurodigital technologies.
