Abstract. The paper summarizes the experience of introducing digital open educational resources into medical higher school. The article examines business communication competence requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 3++ for specialty 38.03.02 "Management", analyzes a new universal competence students should acquire, provides examples of academic curriculum implementation. The authors broaden the curriculum of the discipline "Business Communications" to include digital open educational resources enhancing the formation of students’ digital competences, and herein lies scientific originality of the study. The research findings are as follows: the authors update the curriculum of the discipline "Business Communications" to include digital open educational resources promoting the formation of students’ digital competences.
