ACTIVITY OF PRINTED MATTER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WITHIN TERRITORY OF THE EASTERN TRANSBAIKAL REGION IN THE 1920-1930S

Abstract. The article, basing on previously unpublished archival material, as well as the newspaper articles of 1920-1930, gives an analysis of the activity of the distribution system of printed matter within the territory of the Eastern Transbaikal region in the 1920-1930s. The paper states conditions, under which the distribution of printed matter was carried out, and organizations that were a part of the distribution system. The author draws attention to the printed matter, which was most popular among the residents of the Eastern Transbaikal region.
