RUSSIAN-SPEAKING POPULATION IN HISTORY OF ALAGIR SILVER-LEAD PLANT (THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIXTH CENTURY)

Abstract. The author discusses the problems of Alagir Russian-speaking population in the second half of the XIXth century, tells about the reasons of government artisans appearance from Lugansk, Ural and Altai plants in Ossetia, analyzes the history of Alagir silver-lead plant and Sadon mine, sets the goal to conduct the analysis of Russian and Ukrainian immigrants influence on the industrial development of Alagir gorge, uses both archival data and the evidence of the events contemporary S. I. Tolmachev, and comes to the conclusions about the significant role of the Russian population in the history of Alagir and its silver-lead plant.
