Abstract. The aim of the study is to identify the typological parameters of the argumentative structure of the text of parliamentary speeches. The paper examines the notion of argumentative structure, defines its main elements at the macro-level (the thesis and argumentative parts) and describes the relationships between them, identifying the typical speech forms of expression of these elements. The deployment of argumentation at the micro-level within the framework of the argumentative component is analyzed. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that based on the material of the French language, from the standpoint of communicatively oriented text linguistics, an analysis is carried out of the argumentative structure of the texts of parliamentary speeches aimed at convincing the addressee of the acceptability or unacceptability of a certain point of view on the political issue under discussion. As a result of the study, the following typological characteristics of the argumentative structure of the examined texts were established: intentionally determined hierarchical organization, variability manifested in different directions of the functional-semantic connection between its main elements. In addition, the results of the study made it possible to identify and systematize the functional-semantic relationships that arise within the argumentative component.
Key words and phrases: аргументация, аргументативный дискурс, аргументативный текст, функционально-смысловые отношения, argumentation, argumentative discourse, argumentative text, functional-semantic relations
