Abstract. The study aims to shed light on the features of the theme of loneliness in T. Minnullin’s trilogy. The paper examines the connection of this theme with the idea of the playwright’s work, the peculiarities of its reflection in plays written during different periods of T. Minnullin’s creative life. Special attention is paid to the role of the figurative means used by the author to develop the theme of loneliness. In the trilogy, the playwright managed to describe the fate of an entire generation of peers: from the young age to the end of their lives. From play to play, the life goals, desires, victories and defeats of the characters, their joys and experiences etc. are consistently revealed. The scientific novelty lies in identifying the features of the theme of loneliness in T. Minnullin’s trilogy, as well as its connection with the writer’s artistic world. As a result, it has been determined that, firstly, the theme of loneliness unites the storylines of all three plays through the image of the main character Milyausha; secondly, it helps to depict the personality of the characters of the trilogy; thirdly, the theme of loneliness manifests itself through such artistic means as memories, the game motif, the motif of parting ways etc.
