ON PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING AT AN AGRARIAN HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract. The article discusses the problem of implementing a professionally oriented approach to foreign language teaching at an agrarian higher education establishment. The author examines the essence of such an approach promoting the development of agrarian students’ competences established by the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education in the sphere of agriculture. The paper substantiates the conditions for successful professionally oriented teaching, analyzes the related difficulties and the approaches to overcome them.
