NOUN IN H. MEGISER’S GRAMMAR "INSTITUTIONUM LINGUAE TURCICAE LIBRI QUATUOR" ("THE BASIC RULES OF THE TURKIC LANGUAGE") OF 1612

Abstract. This article is devoted to H. Megiser’s grammar "Institutionum linguae Turcicae libri quatuor" ("The Basic Rules of the Turkic Language") of 1612 - the first scientific grammar of the Turkic languages. Special attention is paid to the analysis of a noun and its grammatical categories. H. Megiser considers this part of the speech in terms of the Latin language, highlights such grammatical categories as gender, number, case, giving a large number of examples. The author of the article also uses the material of reading books for a more detailed analysis.
