METHODS OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL TERMS FORMATION IN TAJIC LANGUAGE

Abstract. The author, for the first time in the Tajik linguistics, defines the notion term creation in the sphere of scientific-technical terminology, reveals the processes of terminologization, term formation and term borrowing, determines term formation ways, including term composition, term combination and abbreviation, and singles out the principles and criteria of scientific-technical terms borrowing from other languages in the modern Tajik language.
