Аннотация. В статье рассматривается отношение американского бизнеса к планам реформирования здравоохранения, обсуждавшимся в период президентства Д. Картера. Показана сущность наиболее популярных подходов и предложений по созданию национального медицинского страхования. Проанализирована и охарактеризована позиция различных групп и организаций американского бизнеса по отношению к ним. Автор отмечает различие подходов медицинского и немедицинского бизнеса к реформе здравоохранения и госрегулированию в этой сфере.
