Аннотация. В данной статье анализируется влияние англо-американских противоречий 1760-1780-х гг. на английскую экономику и общество. На основе концепций, принятых в западноевропейской исторической науке, исследуются правовые, политические и социально-экономические проблемы, явившиеся основой торгово-промышленного кризиса в Англии.
