World in the Flow of Increasing Complexity: From Conflict Paradigm to Synergy Paradigm

Abstract. The work is aimed at developing understanding of current strategies of socio-cultural life amid increasing processes of complexity. There are two strategies for mastering socio-cultural complexity: "conflict paradigm" and "synergy paradigm". Novelty of the proposed approach lies in the subject perspective: synergy is considered not only through the lens of anthropology but also from the perspective of the processes of increasing socio-cultural complexity. The research findings have shown that the modernity requires detection of not only "struggle", contradictions and conflicts but also functional interdependencies and cooperation.
