Specificity of Civilizational Risks and Mechanisms to Overcome Them

Abstract. The aim of the article is to determine the specificity of global civilizational risks and mechanisms to overcome them. The work examines civilizational risks, reveals their relationship with global problems. The scientific originality lies in the fact that the work not only provides a detailed description of modern risks, but also proposes mechanisms to overcome them. As a result, it was concluded that there are mechanisms by which a certain level of safety can be achieved and the consequences of risk situations can be minimized. These mechanisms include the conception of sustainable development, as well as the joint efforts of most states aimed at preventing crisis and risk situations.
