Submitted: 15.07.2020
Abstract. The paper aims to present a survey of musicological and composer’s studies on the musical time spatialization phenomenon of the second half of the XX century. Scientific originality of the research lies in the fact that the author examines certain trends associated with musical time spatialization and reveals artistic specificity of the spatial parameter in the composer Yu. S. Kasparov’s creative conception. The research findings are as follows: relying on the existing theories in the field of musical avant-garde, the author concludes about a special semantic role of acoustic space in the modern composition. In fact, the concept "acoustic space" correlates with the concept "theme" in compositions of the classical-romantic period.
Key words and phrases: спатиализация музыкального времени, параметры композиции, координаты музыкального пространства, Ю. C. Каспаров, musical time spatialization, composition parameters, musical space coordinates, Yu. S. Kasparov
