Abstract. The paper examines the key aspects of cooperation of the Czechoslovak Corps and the Committee of Members of the Constituent Assembly (Komuch). The article considers the role of the Czechoslovak Corps in formation of the anti-Bolshevik movement in the Middle Volga region in the period of the Civil War in Russia. Relying on archival materials, the periodical press, personal sources, the authors identify areas of common interest of the Czech military commandment and the Komuch political leadership. Scientific originality of the study involves analysing poorly investigated aspects of this cooperation. The conducted research allows concluding that the parties cooperated in the following areas: military units formation, allied command, public order enforcement, struggle against diversionists, educational exchange and the Czechoslovak Corps material supply. It is shown that the cooperation developed on a short-term basis and its intensity was determined by the military situation.
