Abstract. The research objective involves a comparative analysis of the key provisions of philosophy of history by N. A. Berdyaev and S. L. Frank. The article examines the thinkers’ methodological approaches to philosophical and historical problematics, analyses their perception of the adopted positivistic approach to studying history, compares their understanding of progress, and identifies the factors and subjects of the historical process. Scientific originality of the paper involves a comparative analysis of historiosophical conceptions of N. A. Berdyaev and S. L. Frank. The conducted research allows identifying similarities and differences between their philosophical and historical conceptions.
