Abstract. The paper aims to analyse the phenomenon of informational conflict from the viewpoint of the subject-oriented approach. The article describes the basic subject-oriented approaches adopted in social sciences and humanities, such as systemic, discursive, communicative and structural ones. The key features and provisions of the subject-oriented approach in philosophy are revealed. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that informational conflict is considered as specific interaction of a subject of cognition and informational communicative space. The research findings justify appropriateness and relevance of the subject-oriented approach to studying and describing informational conflict through the lenses of subjectivity transformation.
