Artefacts of the Second Half of the I Millennium A.D. Discovered at Isker Settlement (Analysis of Available Materials)

Abstract. The research objective is as follows: study and introduction into scientific circulation of artefacts of the second half of the I Millennium A.D. discovered at Isker settlement in the period from the 1880s till the beginning of the XXI century. Relevance of the subject is conditioned by the fact that dating of the findings discovered at Isker settlement is a hotly debated issue. The author introduces into scientific circulation uninvestigated materials from museum collections and examines previously described items, which constitutes scientific originality of the study. The research findings are as follows: archaeological collections from Isker settlement include no less than twenty ceramic rings, clay distaff, three bronze plates associated with the Potchevash culture (the VI-IX centuries A.D.) of the southern taiga Irtysh area.
