The NATO Policy of the 1990s in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Metohija: The European Researchers’ Views

Abstract. The purpose of the study is to determine the European authors’ standpoint regarding assessment of the NATO’s policy towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Metohija in the 90s of the XX century. Scientific novelty of the work lies in defining this issue as a subject of a special study. The article pays attention to discussion points of the considered issue, carries out their analysis. As a result, the paper has identified respective groups of historiographical sources on the studied topics depending on authors’ affiliation with certain countries or regions, political ideologies, occupation (science, politics, journalism), personal attitude towards the policy carried out by the North Atlantic Alliance in the Balkans.
