Psychological Aspects of Musical Education

Abstract. The paper reveals the role of psychology of musical education in teaching practice. The author tries to identify correlation of psychology of music and human psychology. The growing role of the anthropocentric approach to education is emphasized. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the author examines correlation of music as an artistic matter and a source of musical meanings and a human being as a subject of cognition . The following conclusions are justified: psychology of musical education plays an essential role in teaching music, taking into account growing popularity of the anthropocentric approach to education.
