Abstract. The article considers the interrelation of the creative work and pedagogical activity of the enamel painter L. A. Solomnikova. The paper identifies L. A. Solomnikova’s contribution into the development of Saint Petersburg school of easel enamel painting at the end of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century, which occupies a leading position in the world art. The following key stages of the painter’s biography are identified: the period of training (the 1990s); the work to restore the Holy Doors of the Church of the Resurrection in Saint Petersburg (1997-2012); the director of the Enamel Art Studio (from 2012).
