A. MALDYBAEV’S ROLE IN KYRGYZSTAN MUSICAL ART FORMATION

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the creative work of the Kyrgyz composer, singer, actor A. M. Maldybaev and his role in the republic’s cultural space. A. M. Maldybaev’s versatile activity is considered in the context of professional art formation in Kyrgyzstan. Bright individuality of talent, close and deep connection with folk roots in combination with successful assimilation of classical opera heritage achievements made A. M. Maldybaev one of the founders of the Kyrgyz Soviet composer’s school. The author gives a brief overview of his works, many of which remain unknown to the scientific community but do not lose their relevance.
