"NOVUM IN NOVOS": PAGAN PROLIFICATION OF THE XXI CENTURY BY THE EXAMPLE OF "ALATYR OF SPIRIT" COMMUNITY

Abstract. Relying on the Internet sources, interviews and publications of pagan leaders, the article examines the structural peculiarities and worldview specificity of the pagan community "Alatyr of Spirit". The research findings allow the author to draw some conclusions. The "Alatyr of Spirit" community is a striking example of new paganism of the XXI century with a range of specific systemic discourses typical of the movement at the modern stage. The following distinguishing features of the mentioned pagan community are identified: firstly, impetuous development; secondly, the peculiarities of internal structure: a small group of geographically separated adherents; thirdly, the insisted "spontaneity" realized through their own pantheon and calendar.
