USING DIFFERENT TYPES OF DECORATION OF METAL SURFACE IN JEWELLERY ART

Abstract. The article discusses the possibility of decorating the surface of copper-nickel alloys imitating silver. The authors present the methods for decorating the surface of the artistic and jewellery product made of the most widely used copper-nickel alloys. The classification of metal surface decoration technologies has been developed. Recommendations on using these types of alloys decoration in modern jewellery design and their nomenclature expansion are suggested. The paper covers the main technological processes of metal surfaces treatment. The graphic plan of the artistic and jewellery product is shown.
