Abstract. The article aims to justify integrity of the objective and the subjective in cognition by solving contradiction between realism and constructivism. Realism, having evolved from na?ve to hypothetic, comes to recognize the constructivist conception of discrepancy between our knowledge of the world and the world itself. Constructivism recognizes existence of the objective world but can’t solve the problem of genesis of psyche structures that arrange information about the world into a world picture. This problem can be solved from the viewpoint of the fractal conception and Jung’s archetype model based on existence of generative structures that arrange the objective and subjective world. From this viewpoint, contradiction between realism and constructivism disappears, knowledge is considered as synthesis of the objective and the subjective, with dominance of the first element.
