SOVIET "INTRODUCTION INTO POST-STRUCTURALISM": IEREMIYA IOFFE’S THEORY OF ART

Abstract. The article is devoted to the elements of post-structuralism in the heritage of the great Russian art critic and culture expert Ieremiya Ioffe. The semiotic peculiarities of Ioffe’s sociology of art, the role of system analysis in his works are assessed. Special attention is paid to the attempt of the scientist to deconstruct the key notions and discourses of art studies. Possible parallels between Ioffe’s criticism of historicism and the post-structuralist theory of the second half of the XX - the beginning of the XXI century are revealed.
